Robert Dale Scott, 53, of Moline, formerly of Carbon Cliff, died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011, at his home.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Carbon Cliff Methodist Church. Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial fund will be established.
He was born Dec. 4, 1957, in Monmouth, to Fred Scott and Betty Coleman.
Bob was a self-employed tree specialist. He enjoyed helping people.
Survivors include his mother, Betty Scott, Moline; his father, Fred Scott, Moline; son, Tony Scott, Moline; sisters, Thresea Bivens and Tammy Ness, both of Moline; brothers, Jimmie Scott, Davenport, and Larry Scott, Carbon Cliff; grandchildren, Dakota Gloden, Anthony and Andrew Scott.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jason Scott.
