Robert Stiner

Robert “Bob” Stiner, 75, of Port Byron passed away Aug. 30, 2018 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf.

A memorial service will be 5pm Wednesday at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis with visitation 2 hours prior to service time. Memorials may be made to St. Mark’s Anglican Church in Silvis.

Robert was born Oct. 31, 1942 in Moline, IL the son of Bill and Esther Gunnerson Stiner. He married Sherie Raiche Feb. 17, 1962 in Moline. Bob worked for Local 25 Plumbers and Pipefitters retiring in 1998. He enjoyed fishing and was a member of the Antique Tractor Association. Bob was a very selfless man who loved his work and would help anyone in need. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his wife Sherie; children Sabrina (Bill) Reiter and Rod (Shelly) Stiner; grandchildren Jacob, Tony, Mitchell, Kyle and Becky and 10 great grandchildren.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Bill and Bert Stiner.
