Roberta Holiday

Roberta Jean Holliday, 67, of Colona passed away July 15, 2019 at Genesis Medical Center Illini Campus.

A celebration of Roberta’s life will be 1pm Thursday, July 18th at the Colona Legion Post 1233. Schroder Mortuary in Colona is assisting the family with arrangements.

Roberta was born November 26, 1951 in Moline, IL the daughter of Clarence and Leona Harrington Myres. She married James Holliday January 21, 1995 in Colona. Roberta was the manager of the Colona Legion for several years and also ran a home cleaning business for 20 years. She enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband James; daughter Shellie Rene Billingsly; grandchildren Cassandra Jean Billingsly, Shea Lynn Jackson, James Anthony Ochoa Holliday, Marley Rae Ochoa, and Sommer Rayne Billingsly and 5 great grandchildren.

Roberta was preceded in death by her parents; son Scott Raymond Billingsly and brothers Bob Lee and John LeRoy Myres.
