Roger D. Kien, 60, of Tennesee, formerly of Davenport, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012, at his mother's home surrounded by his loving family.
Cremation rites will be accorded. Schroder Mortuary in Silvis is assisting the family with arrangements.
Roger was born Feb. 11, 1952, in Morris, Ill., the son of John and Dora Henson Kien. He worked as a construction worker and enjoyed fishing, dancing and riding his Harley.
Survivors include his mother, Dora Bloomfield, of Hampton; daughter, Lyndsey Bennett, of Murphyborough, Tenn.; son, Derek Kien, in Japan in the Air Force; sisters, Sandy (Greg) Stephan, of Round Lake, Ill., Paula (Mark) Spolarich, of Hampton; brothers, Gary Long, of Engleside, Ill., Mark (Angie) Long, of California City, Calif., and Brian (Lupe) Bloomfield, of Atkinson, Ill.
Roger was preceded in death by his father and a brother, John.
