Ronald Seei, 79, of Geneseo passed away at his home on July 4, 2020.
Ronald was born July 9, 1940 to Clemence and Edna Seei. At a young age, Ron started in the construction business. Over the next 60 years working in construction he became a jack-of-all-trades, but primarily specialized in masonry. If you rode with Ron in a car through Geneseo you would realize there wasn’t a street in the whole town that he didn’t work on over the years. If the building had brick, block, or stone on it, he more than likely laid it.
Some of Ron’s proudest achievements throughout Geneseo included remodeling the Cellar, the Geneseo Communications waterfall, designing and building multiple subdivisions, building and remodeling multiple churches, Dairy Queen, Walmart, and the elevator shaft to the Richmond Hill theater.
Ron was known to give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He enjoyed going fishing at his lake every Sunday, driving his 1969 Camaro, vacationing with family, and being around his grandkids.
Those left to cherish Ron’s memory include his girlfriend, two brothers, a sister, four daughters, a son, four granddaughters, four grandsons, and a great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
