Rosie Chrisop

Rosie E. Chrisop, 93, of Colona passed away Oct. 10, 2018 at Hillcrest Home in Geneseo.

Funeral services will be 11am Monday at Schroder Mortuary in Colona. Visitation will be 3-5pm Sunday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Dayton Corners Cemetery, Colona. Memorials may be made to the family.

Rosie was born June 3, 1925 in East Moline, IL the daughter of August and Bertha Theuninck Vereecke. She married Harold Chrisop Aug 31, 1946 in East Moline. He preceded her in death Feb. 1, 1998. Rosie worked at John Deere and was an Avon representative for 47 years.

Survivors includer her children Carol (George) VanWinkle of Colona and Marty (Brenda) Chrisop of Missouri; grandchildren Thomas, Teresa, Julie, Jeanne, Karla, Seth, Robert, Bryan and Dwayne; 7 great grandchildren; nieces Jean (Dennis) Fair of Orion and Kathleen Smith of AZ; nephew Jim (Tami) Stalf of Andover and cousins Julia Theuninck and Morey (Pat) Popelier both of East Moline.

Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Michael, and granddaughter Karen, sister Mary and a brother Jerome.
