Sally Turner, 71, of Barstow, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2012, at Genesis Medical Center, Illini Campus, Silvis.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the mortuary. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family.
Sally was born April 12, 1941, in Moline, daughter of Gerrard and Marjorie Stodd Onderbeke. She married Merle Turner on March 21, 1964, in Benton, Ark. He passed away June 23, 1990.
Sally enjoyed crafts, crocheting and cooking. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Cindy DeHaven, Millersburg, Mo., Ken Turner, Colona, James Turner, Barstow, Becky Turner, Barstow, and Ron (Ginger) Turner, Erie; grandchildren, Tim (Heather), Devan, Jacob (Hali), Jessica, Tara Jo, Leeann, Erick (Courtney), Elizabeth, Katlyn, Remington and Kerin; great-grandchildren, Elliott, Hunter, Noah, Porter, Page, Monroe, Triton, Brailey and Cale; brothers, Jerry, California, and Bobby, Arkansas; brother-in-law, Ted Bolser, Marshal, Mo.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bill Girt; sisters, Joyce Stillwell and Sandy Balser; and an aunt, Bobbie Kahl.
