Scott Miller

Scott A. Miller, 46, of Colona, passed away Oct. 16, 2018, at UnityPoint Health-Trinity Moline.

A memorial visitation will be 1-4 p.m. Saturday at Schroder Mortuary in Colona. A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Memorials may be made to the family.

Scott was born Sept. 1, 1972, in Silvis, the son of Joseph and Vicky Miller. He married Carolana Hernandez on Dec. 3, 2004, in Rock Island. Scott’s family was most important and he touched the lives of many. He was very active with kids in the community and coached for the Colona Little League for 20 years. He also coached basketball and football and enjoyed fishing, swimming and dancing.

Survivors include his father, Joseph (Sandra) Miller; wife, Carolana; children, Marisa, Andrew, Martin, Samuel, Elijah, Liliana and Travon Banks; siblings, Christine Miller, Joseph (Christy) Miller and Joan Strom; stepbrother, Dillard (Hyesuk) Crawford; and stepsister, Cathy (Roger) Fassett; many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and -nephews.

Scott was preceded in death by his loving mother, Vicky.

The family would like everyone to remember Scott as the fun, outgoing, charismatic, energetic person that he was, always wanting to be a part of everyone’s lives.
