Sheryl Lynn Kearney, Reeds Spring, Mo., daughter of Charles James Jr. and Marion Elaine Cain Raymond, was born on March 9, 1953, in Moline, and departed this life on June 22, 2012, in her home, at the age of 59.
Services will be noon Thursday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Visitation will be two hours prior to service time. Burial will be at Rock Island National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, Heartland Division, Inc., 3322 S. Campbell Ave., No. P, Springfield, MO 65807-4980.
Sheryl was a retired truck driver and had lived in Reeds Spring for the past five years, coming from Moline. She was a member of Freedom of the Road Riders and was of the Baptist faith.
Sheryl was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Carlos; two brothers, Wayne and Donald; and one grandson, Estavon.
Survivors include her husband, Darwin Kearney, Reeds Spring; three sons, Chris Bowers and wife, Holly, Rock Island, Ramon Veloz, Moline, and Chad Kearney, Princeton, Ill.; four daughters,
Tina Gonzalez and husband, Juan, Moline, Sarah Grant and husband, Curtis, Parkview, Shawna Trenkamp and husband, Andy, Elvira, Iowa, and Elizabeth Kearney, Davenport; one brother, Richard Koester, Silvis; one sister, Joann Womac, Moline; 26 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
