Stanley D. Kallenbach, 70, of Moline, died Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, at his home.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis, with visitation one hour before the service on Friday. Cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
He was born Sept. 27, 1940, in Niagara, Wis., to Harry and Mildred VanVleet Kallenbach. He married Lovice Perry on Nov. 15, 1959, in East Moline.
Stan retired from International Harvester, East Moline, as a welder.
Stan was very involved at Arrowhead Ranch. He was instrumental in getting the Round Up program on its feet. He was the Round Up chairman for eight years and on the board of directors for six years. He was also a member of the Country Music Association.
Survivors include his wife, Lovice; daughters, Crystal Baker, Fayetteville, Ark., Jolene Richardson, Orion, and Heather Mason, Moline; sisters, Beverly Camp and Sharon Stineman, both of Moline, Diane Rixen, Camanche, Iowa; brothers, Harry, Rio, Roger, Morrison, Jerry, Rock Island; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Pat and Frank.
