Steven Lee “Stubby” Chenoweth, 68, of Colona passed away February 17, 2020 at his home in Colona.
A celebration of life will be 3-8pm Thursday at the Colona Legion Post 1233. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors Project.
Steven was born June 14, 1951 in Moline, IL the son of Emmer and Marjorie Trone Chenoweth. He married Pamela Daggett March 16, 1968 in Missouri. He worked as a supervisor of the trailer division at Standard Forwarding in East Moline for 33 years, retiring in 2004. Stubby loved spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He enjoyed playing cards, hanging out on the Rock River with his friends, hunting, and fishing. He will be remembered most for his tough but funny personality.
Survivors include his wife Pamela; daughter Peggy (Loren) Watters; son Toby (Casey) Chenoweth; grandchildren Luke Watters, Lake Watters, Cadem Chenoweth, and Greyson Chenoweth; siblings Sandy (Darrell) Park, Helen Chenoweth, and Rondel (Denise) Chenoweth.
He was preceded in death by his parents and 6 siblings.
