Susan Brasmer

Susan Brasmer, 58, of Colona, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at her home in Colona. Per her wishes there will be no services. Cremation rites will be accorded. Schroder Mortuary, Colona, is assisting the family with arrangements. Susan was born April 12, 1954, Menominee, Wis. She worked at Red Jacket for 20 years and was an inventor, holding a patent on a roadside safety device. She enjoyed reading, fishing, the outdoors and taking her dog for walks. Susan is survived by her son, Shane Brasmer, Colona; daughter, Bobbie Jo Brasmer-Cutler, Woodhull; grandchildren, Draven, Elwyn and Lucien; sister, Donna Anderson; brothers, Hugo and Roger Suominen; and her father, Swante Suominen. She was preceded in death by her mother and brothers, Mike and Jeff.
