Susan Flanagan, 58, of Silvis, went home to her Lord, Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012, at Trinity Rock Island.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 8, at Schroder Mortuary, Silvis. Visitation will be 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
Susan Kaye Partlow was born Dec. 30, 1953, in Moline, to David Lee and Donna Faye (Engelhardt) Partlow. She married Mike Flanagan on Dec. 30, 1979.
She worked at various places throughout her life, including Melo-Cream Donut Shop in Moline, Seaford Clothing Co. and The Millard Group. Her most cherished profession was being a proud stay-at-home mother for more than 18 years. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Susan was always there to comfort, encourage and care for those around her. She enjoyed researching family history and sharing her memories. She was a member of East Moline Foursquare Church.
Susan is survived by her husband, Mike Flanagan, Silvis; daughter and son-in-law, Sarena Kaye and Payton Michael Yeager, East Moline; grandson, Aiden Michael Yeager, East Moline; two sisters, Cynthia Kay and Kathleen Kae; one brother, David Michael; her father, David "Davie" Lee; and many nieces and nephews that she loved as her own; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Donna Faye (Englehardt) Partlow.
Susan's family thanks Dr. Garneau and his amazing staff for taking such great care of her.
