Thomas A. Sharp

Thomas A. “Tom” Sharp, 52, of Colona passed away Monday, December 11, 2023 at his home.

Visitation will be 4-7pm Thursday at Schroder Mortuary in Colona. Funeral services and burial at Greenview Memorial Gardens will be private. A celebration of Tom’s life will be 12-5pm Sunday, December 17, 2023 at Colona American Legion Post 1233. Memorials may be made to the family.

Tom was born July 31, 1971 in Moline, IL the son of Harold and Karen Head Sharp. He married Tracy Hase February 25, 2006 in East St. Louis, IL. He worked at NRE (National Railway Equipment) for 15 years as a quality assurance manager. Tom loved fishing and enjoyed dirt bike riding.

Survivors include his wife Tracy; children Andrew (Amber) Sharp of Colona, Alexis (James) Vrana of Sherrard, Timothy Jr. (Holly) Lindsay of Colona, and Jacob Sharp of Colona; grandchildren McKinsey Sharp, Dillon Kramer, Aubrey Sharp, Ayla Sharp, Madison Vrana, and Zoey Lindsay, and siblings Sandy Atkins, Linda Lopez, Kathy Herman, and James Sharp.

Tom was preceded in death by his parents and a brother James E. Sharp.
