Tommy Grumadas

Tommy L. Grumadas, 58, of Silvis, died Sunday, April 19, 2015, at his home. Graveside services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Greenview Memorial Gardens Chapel in East Moline. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis. Memorials may be made to the family. He was born April 30, 1956, in Moline, to Anthony Sr. and Doris Brusso Grumadas. He married Maria Hay on June 14, 1986. He worked as a roofer. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, motorbikes and anything Harley Davidson. He also enjoyed fishing, gardening and going to the casino. Tommy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his daughter. Survivors include his wife, Maria Grumadas; daughter, Nicole (Timothy Miller) Grumadas, East Moline; stepdaughter, Kathleen Hurd, Silvis; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Robert Hurd and Vada Mae Lee Miller; and siblings, Anthony (Lonnie) Grumadas, East Moline, Bennie (Adrena) Grumadas, Colona, Doris Grumadas, East Moline, Judy Dawson, East Moline, and Diane (James) Wilson, Rock Island. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, three brothers; one stepdaughter; and one granddaughter.
