Wanda L. Ball

Wanda L. Ball, 86, of Silvis passed away April 5, 2025 at Silvis Center for Nursing and Rehab.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday at Schroder Mortuary in Silvis with visitation 1 hour prior to service time. Burial will follow at Greenview memorial Gardens in East Moline. Memorials may be made to QCAWC (Quad Cities Animal Welfare Center).

Wanda was born December 27, 1938 in Rogersville, TN the daughter of Robert and Myrtle Phillips Owens. She married Lester Ball June 6, 1959 in Kingsport, TN. He passed away September 27, 2012. Wanda retired from Henry County Bank in 1992. She was an amazing cook and an avid dog lover. She enjoyed shopping, especially for clothes and makeup.

Survivors include her daughters Tammy (Todd) Hart of Rosemount, MN and Kelli (Dan) Cogdill of East Moline; grandchildren Rachel (Dima) Goldstein, Lindsay (Jon) Buchholz, Tyler (Tiffani) Hart, and Travis (Jessica) Hart; great grandchildren Maxime Goldstein, Henry Hart, and Hudson Hart, and siblings Joyce Melear and Buck Owens.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brothers Earl, Ronald, Eddie, and Larry.
