Wesley Tuman

Wesley E. "Wes" Tuman, 72, of Moline, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at Hope Creek Care Center, East Moline Per his wishes, there will be no services and his body will be donated to science. Schroder Mortuary, Silvis, is assisting the family with arrangements. Wes was born on Aug. 24, 1940, in Rockford, Ill., the son of William and Florence Lee Tuman. He married Mary G. Brown on Nov. 26, 1980, in Sikeston, Mo. He worked for his father until he opened Tuman Cycle Works. He later worked at Jugenheimer's. He enjoyed working on motorcycles and fishing. Survivors include, his father, William Wesley Tuman; his wife, Mary Tuman; children, Deb Hayes and Wesley Tuman; stepchildren, Marsha Bailey, Glynn Roach and Ronald Trich; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings Marney, Dixie, Lettie and Billie; brothers-in-law, David and Virble Brown. Wes was preceded in death by his mother; stepmother and a grandchild.
