William D. Anderson

William D. Anderson, 70, of Colona passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Genesis Medical Center Illini Campus. 

A memorial visitation will be 4-6pm Friday at Schroder Mortuary in Colona. A celebration of life will follow at the Colona Activity Center (617 8th Street) from 6-8pm.  

William was born July 22, 1953 in Moline, IL the son of Daniel and Geneva (Sigler) Anderson. He married Jennifer Lack in 1978. William worked at National Railways and retired from Kone. He enjoyed music and playing the guitar and fishing, golfing and shooting. 

Survivors include his wife Jennifer; children Janean (Garry) DePaepe of Rock Island, Mitchell Anderson of Denver, CO, and Aron Anderson of Colona; grandchildren AJ Clay and Dalton DePaepe and a brother Steve (Rita) Anderson of Colona. 

William was preceded in death by his parents.
